Music videos are very fun projects to edit. As a music fan I love the idea of images to music, stories told in a short amount of time and the visual elements almost as another instrument. While I don’t get to edit nearly as many music videos these days since many directors edit their own videos these are some of my favorites from over the years. Some are more challenging than others.

I included this old, standard definition, shot on film music video as it’s one of my favorite edits ever. Rarely did we get a chance to tell a tough, emotional story with a lot of different elements and have most everything make it to the final cut. I’m still shocked that we were able to get nearly 6 seconds of silence in there that went to air.
